C-Series Module, Digital I/O

Digital I/O modules allow CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems to read and write digital signals. They interface with logic-level devices, switches, relays, and control circuits. Important specifications include the number of channels, voltage levels (TTL, CMOS, or industrial ranges), input thresholds, and output drive strength. Some modules support bidirectional or configurable channels. They're commonly used for automation, monitoring switch states, generating digital control signals, or integrating with other digital hardware. Digital I/O modules are among the most versatile building blocks for DAQ systems.
